Application:

  1. Reduction of chloroanhydrides of acids, aldehydes, ketones to corresponding alcohols, Schiff bases to secondary amines, indoles to indolines.
  2. As fogging agent in direct positive emulsions.
  3. In photographic development processes with image inversion for a higher image density.
  4. Hydroboration of olefines.
  5. For elecrtodeposition of coatings.
  6. In production of photocurable compositions for lithographic plates.
  7. As a fuel additive.
  8. For stabilization of alcohols, prepared by oxa-synthesis and containing small amounts of carbonyl or non-saturated compounds.
