- Stereoselective reduction of a steroidal ketone.
- For cuprum coating of PCB.
- Reduces aldehydes, generated in situ by hydrolysis of acetals with aqueous triflic acid in THF, to primary alcohols.
- Reductions of enones with preparation of allyl alcohols.
