Application:

  1. Reduces carbonyl compounds in acidic media.
  2. Applying metal coatings in PCB production.
  3. In medicine and pharmacology for preparation of antihyperlipimide and resolvent agents.
  4. For preparation of lithium aminoborohydrides, which are air-stable and non-pyrophoric reducing agents.
  5. Reduction of imines to amines.
  6. Use as fogging agents in direct-positive photographic emulsions.
  7. Treatment of polymers to avoid decolouration of the product and undesirable odours.
  8. Reduction of cuprum oxide (II) on the surface of metal cuprum to cuprum oxide (I).
