Application:

  1. Reduction of aldehydes to alcohols in presence of ketones, ethers and double bonds.
  2. Stereoselective reduction of ketones in acetic acid.
  3. Reduction b-hydroxy ketones diastereoselectively to anti-diols and cyclic b-enamino esters selectively to the cis-amino esters.
  4. Excellent reagent for reductive amination of aldehydes and ketones with a variety of amines.
  5. As a reagent for N-alkylation of aminoacids esters by reduction amination.
