Aviabor negotiates a supply deal with Samsung Display. Our plant is well-known for its high-quality products. In recent years we have worked hard on extra-pure grade boron trichloride, that’s purity reaches 99,999%. Moreover, we are the unique enterprise that has the opportunity to supply it in huge cylinders (0,5-1 tons), guaranteeing the quality required. These results were noticed by new foreign partners. Samsung Display is planning the purchase of extra-pure grade boron trichloride for its OLED displays production. In October 2019 representatives of the company visited our plant to carry out quality-system audit. JSC “Aviabor” successfully underwent such audits by pharmaceutical companies over the years, which resulted in stable and winning cooperation. In this respect Samsung Display is the first electronic brand to follow. This is good news for us, because this points to the fact that microelectronic companies also become more selective in choosing their partners, making quality and expertise a priority. They raise their standards and we are here to face the challenge. Quality requirements harmonization and conclusion of the contract for the supply of BCL3 5N to South Korea are now under way.
